Adding a new Access point to an existing cluster

Hello,

I would like to know the procedure for adding an access point to an existing cluster.
The client currently has five AP1431 access points (version 5.0.4.3042), and I need to add a sixth one.

My plan was simply to update the new access point to the same version as the existing cluster and assign it a static IP address (the client does not use DHCP).

Is this sufficient for it to join the cluster once I connect it to the client’s network?

Yes, Add the AP to same VLAN and Same IP subnet will automatically add to the AP to the cluster
