Is there a advantage to using STATIC linkaggs over LACP between switches?
It depends on the use case. For example, if the connecting device not supported on dynamic linkagg ( LACP) then you have to use static Linkagg configs. No hard rules on usage.
however, with dynamic linkagg, it will not blackhole the traffic in case the peer is not configured with linkagg. But static linkagg will break the communication in such scenario.
thanks - i think for my use case there isnt much in it! worth knowing about the traffic getting blackhole’d
