Lanpower denied VHI

Hello,

The command: show lanpower 1 on 6350-P24 switch displays “denied VHI”? Lanpower is ON, but no PoE device is working. What can cause this problem?

Denied VHI: - Port is off, due to volt higher than the max volt.

Pls see the device you are connecting 802.3af (15.4) or 802.3at(30W) . If we are connecting legacy device, you can try enabling capacity detection.
Last but not least check show lanpower 1 output (bottom) for PoE budget available
