Can we configure OV2500 NMS 4.2 to receive Syslog messages from networking devices like Switch/AP.Please help!

yes you can use OV to receive syslog messages. The messages are displayed at "Administration>Audit> All Current Logs" look up the "syslog" file name. Be aware that the syslog can be used to leverage the Quarantine Manager feature, a very power feature to ban suspucious devices to prevent attacks.
