SSID vlan And AP vlan can be same in OV mode?

Hi,

in OV mode, can we create SSID with vlan same as AP vlan and create ARP(Access role profile) with same vlan.

For example:
AP vlan 10 and SSID vlan also can be 10?

Hi Ryas,

First of all, I would always advise to keep the AP management VLAN seperate from the SSID VLAN to make the network more secure. But yes, you can make the AP management VLAN the same as the SSID VLAN in OV mode. Normally the AP VLAN is bridged untagged on the switch port. In the Access Role attributes of the SSID you can specify “Untagged VLAN” as the VLAN attribute.
