using third party SFP+

Hi,All.

I suppose Alcatel Omni Switch supports MSA.

I'd like to know are there any constraint for supporting or warranty, when i use third party SFP/SFP+.

Are there anyone using third party sfp/sfp+ on alcatel devices?

Its always recommended to use Alcatel-lucent enterprise (ALE) certified SFP's with ALE Switches

with regards to support, if there is any Performance issues on the switch with the third party SFP you will not be rendered any support.

For example Like there is packet drop on the link where third party SFP is used there will be no support from ALE until you use ALE certified SFP on the issue port.
